Lina Kush

Lina Kush is an artist from Belarus, living and working in Poland. At the heart of her work is the human eye - not as a symbol, not as a metaphor, but as a living presence.
She paints in ultramarine, the color of depth and silence. The same depth you find when you look into someone’s eyes long enough. For Lina, eyes always tell the truth, even when hidden behind a mask.
When a gaze appears on the canvas, the painting stops being an object. It looks back.
