I have been studying traditional sculpture paintings in developing countries since 1990. In developing countries, three-dimensional (3 D) paintings are still made by shaping natural materials and wall surfaces, emphasizing both artistic and cultural qualities.
Based on this, I create 3 D paintings using highly durable polymer clay. When you create 3D paintings of natural landscapes, cityscapes, people, flowers, trees, decorative paintings, etc., you can create an impression that is close to the real thing without worrying about painting depth.
From the paintings we have created so far, we have selected paintings of a moderate size of about 30 to 50 cm that are suitable for wall decoration, and by publishing them on Saatchi art, we are working to popularize 3D paintings that anyone can easily create.
