Luca Strippoli

I live and work in Milan, my graphic design diploma is complemented by an interest in photography.
I develop my work with a non-representational approach.
Form and space are for me the main actors in an abstract visual spectacle, they must complement each other, work in harmony, generate strength and imagination.
I seek balance between the areas in the individual colour spaces that occupy the canvas.
I never plan my pieces, I have no idea where the creative gesture will take me.
So I allow myself to get lost in the process.
I like to think that the viewer of one of my abstracts can be suspended between reality and imagination.
My greatest joy is to see my works placed in homes or environments and to know that, whoever looks at them every day can perceive the sense of beauty, of aesthetics drawing energy, pleasure and emotion.
It is not about understanding a painting, it is about ‘living’ it.
