Hanna Ivasyk

I work with images of female faces, without aiming for portrait accuracy. My paintings are not depictions of specific people, but visual states — bright, expressive, and intentionally distanced from realism.

My work is a mirror of my worldview. Through the female face, I explore beauty as energy, emotion, and presence rather than form.

Alongside my artistic practice, I work in cosmetology, which deeply informs my approach to painting. Daily attention to the face and body has shaped my sensitivity to individuality, vulnerability, and beauty beyond ideals.

Due to the war in Ukraine, my life is divided between two countries. Croatia has become a space of pause and creation, whose slower, contemplative energy allows my artistic practice to unfold.
