Iskren Lozanov is a Bulgarian contemporary artist based in Ibiza whose practice explores
preservation, transformation, and material memory through sculptural textile works. Working
between embroidery and sculpture, he creates ritual vessels, embroidered relics, and densely
accumulated forms using upcycled materials, beadwork, and hand-stitching techniques. His
labor-intensive process transforms embroidery from decorative surface into structural language,
where accumulation, repair, and tactile repetition become acts of preservation. Through his work,
Lozanov investigates the tension between fragility and permanence, creating objects that exist
between artefact, bodily fragment, and contemporary relic.
