Nadezhda Shornikova

I'm an architect by training, but I haven't worked as an architect much. For a while I was involved in interior design. But I have always been drawn to painting, so for more than 10 years I have been teaching academic drawing and painting, preparing applicants to art and architectural universities for entrance exams.
I paint mainly with watercolor and I love it very much. But also sometimes I remember about oil and pencil.

While studying at college and institute, I participated in many exhibitions, among students of other architectural and art universities. In 2004, I took the first place at the exhibition of the drawing "the human body". Of the major exhibitions, I participated twice in the international exhibition ArchiGraphy. In 2019, I made a work in pencil graphics. The nomination was "a drawing from nature". And in 2024 I presented a series of works done in watercolor. The nomination was "a drawing from nature".
