Her strongest quality is her spontaneous creations in which she ask the viewers to find the deeper meaning in her artwork.
You just have to take the time to look and come into her world
In which you will find that nothing is pure fantasy.
Taking her inspiration from Jheronimus Bosch, Arcimboldo
and many other artists but also from actual situations she is capable to combine them in a way that fits the modern world.
You discover the story of her art in one creation or in a series of different artworks.
Over the years she is using THE WORLD OF INTERIORS for
her collages. Taking cuttings to create the right atmosphere.
The body of her works is
a subtle colorful expression of her feelings. She likes to study the world and is not afraid to tackle difficult topics, and this allows the viewer to come to their own interpretations.
Living in the south of France spending her time between her paintings in a colourful countryside house and garden.
An expression to her work is, there is the euphoric feeling that only artists will know when the brush, pencil and brain are working as one.
I studied in different Art schools in Belgium for 10 years with different teachers such as Jean Marie Bytebier, Herman Van Snick: They both have different approaches to art and taught me how to look and feel with respect to art, and at the same time they were giving me the freedom to express myself. With as a result my art is very personal and my work is a unique combination of character and style.
University of Melbourne 2015 ( Virginia Woolf)
Collaboration with Patrick Van Caeckenbergh in a project about Paul Valery 2012.
Later I continued as an independent artist in my own gallery
