Her paintings and drawings are a voyage to our deeper emotions. Every element and detail is important .
She paints the eyes as a mirror of the soul, the hands as a language
without words. It tells you so much about her approach to the subject. You discover the story of her paintings in one painting or in a series of paintings. A good example is the
rise of China after the Covid as it brings the painting of Breughel in to the modern world.
The body of her works is
a subtle colorful expression of her feelings. She likes to study the world and is not afraid to tackle difficult topics, this allows the viewer to come to their own interpretations.
Living in the south of France spending her time between her paintings in a colourful countryside house and garden.
An expression to her work is, there is the euphoric feeling that only painters will know when the brush and brain are working as one.
I studied in different Art schools in Belgium for 10 years with different teachers such as Jean Marie Bytebier, Herman Van Snick: They both have different approaches to art and taught me how to look and feel with respect to art, and at the same time they were giving me the freedom to express myself. With as a result my art is very personal and my work is a unique combination of character and style.
University of Melbourne 2015 ( Virginia Woolf)
Collaboration with Patrick Van Caeckenbergh in a project about Paul Valery 2012.
Later I continued as an independent artist in my own gallery
