Sergey Tesker

An award winning photographer, Sergio has travelled far and wide, bearing witness not only to turmoil of society, but also to hope and the power of the human spirit.
Working in a few genres: abstract, landscape, staged-creative, street & documentary - Sergio strives to create poetic photographs often with the hint of humour, if not sarcasm, and sometimes with implied eroticism.
His images were exhibited in Canada and Europe, and published in press and magazines.

Bio:
Born in the USSR on the south of Russia twenty-something years before the start of this century, Sergio became a passionate photographer the moment he picked up his parents’ rangefinder camera and joined a photo club at his school.
Some 15 years later after engineering school and already with Ph.D. in his CV, Sergio emigrated to American continent, with hopes of one day rebooting his never abandoned passion for photography into a new career. Six more years later Sergio finally started the path he was dreaming about – creating images with light, camera and action. Some time ago his passion for photography and art brought him to the Apennines, where he’s now living in a small castello lost in the mountains and woods of central Italy.
