Avo Khalatyan

Born in 1981 in Yerevan into a family of artists, Avo Khalatyan bridges the worlds of theater and visual art. A graduate of the Hakob Kojoyan Art School and the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, he has been a leading figure at the Hakob Paronyan State Musical Comedy Theatre since 1998, excelling in acting, stage design, and illustration.
In 2024, Khalatyan held his first solo exhibition in Yerevan in collaboration with Form and Season Gallery. His paintings reflect his theatrical roots, blending vivid colors, intricate narratives, and dynamic mise-en-scènes. With his brush as a constant prop, Khalatyan continues to captivate audiences, transforming the drama of the stage into striking visual art.
