Darya Kovtun is a contemporary artist whose work explores the emotional landscapes of memory, belonging, and inner journeys.
Originally from Belarus and now based in Israel, she brings a rich, multilayered perspective to her practice. Darya completed a professional course in Interior Art at the "Individuum" Art School under Lyudmila Lipovskaya, where she deepened her expertise in textural techniques and acrylic painting for contemporary spaces.
Her art captures the quiet poetry of urban life — rain-soaked streets, illuminated windows, and fleeting moments of connection. Working primarily with acrylics and texture paste, she creates layered, tactile surfaces that invite not only visual engagement but also a physical, sensory experience. Her pieces combine elements of contemporary impressionism and emotional realism, offering viewers an intimate exploration of solitude, resilience, and hope.
