Thilina Milander

I am a Sri Lankan self-taught artist working with oil on canvas to explore human emotion, inner stillness, and quiet moments of everyday life, influenced by meditation, philosophy, and memory.

studied mathematics and physics, while practicing pencil portrait and sketching as a personal hobby.
Over many years, I engaged in the study and practice of meditation and Eastern philosophy, which deeply influenced my artistic direction. Through this process, I became self-taught in painting, focusing on human emotion and meaningful, contemplative subjects.
