Patrice Bertin

Patrice Bertin, initially educated at France's prestigious Académie Charpentier and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, transitioned from restoring masterpieces by Monet and Caravaggio to becoming a dedicated painter and designer. After moving his conservation business to New York City in the 1970s, Bertin meticulously preserved countless Old Master collections for the prestigious Wildenstein Gallery of New York. Eventually, he followed his passion for painting, relocating to Miami, where he now creates exceptional works reminiscent of Mondrian and Constructivism, applying his conservation-honed skills to vibrant, geometric oil paintings in his dedicated studio.

Born in France, Bertin initially studied at the Académie Charpentier and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs ENSAD, a university which played a pivotal role in the Art Deco movement of the 1920s.
