Gregor Wisniewski

As an artist, I am driven by a passion for science fiction that is fueled by a sense of hope and wonder. My works are a homage to the visionary era of sci-fi from the 60s to the 80s—a time when stories were not about war and destruction, but about exploring unknown worlds and the evolution of human civilizations. I am particularly inspired by the philosophical worlds of Stanisław Lem and the grand vision of the Hyperion Cantos.
​I work most time with oil paint on canvas. This medium allows me to play with light and shadow to create with deliberation landscapes and structures that have a tangible depth and atmosphere. Each painting is a handmade original that tells a story—a small reminder that the universe holds infinite wonders.
