Filmon Adelehey

Filmon K. Adelehey is a painter from Asmara, Eritrea, born in 1990. He began drawing at six years old, and art has been his language ever since. He trained as an artist in Asmara and brought his work to Seattle in 2016. Filmon paints large-scale portraits in oil and charcoal, driven by a dedication to portraying human emotion, memory, and belonging. His work is held by the City of Seattle and Seattle City Light and by private and corporate collectors nationwide.
