am inspired by old walls, ancient temples, weathered houses, and surfaces that have changed over time. Peeling paint, faded colours, cracks, stains, and layers created by age often become the starting point of my paintings.

I do not copy these walls directly. Instead, I observe the accidental compositions, textures, and marks that appear naturally on them and transform them into imagined landscapes and architectural spaces.

My paintings explore the relationship between memory, time, and place. I am interested in how old surfaces carry traces of human presence and history. Through layers of colour, texture, and abstraction, I try to create landscapes that feel familiar yet undefined, like fragments of forgotten places or memories.

The visual language of my work comes from weathered walls, old houses, and ancient structures, where erosion and time become collaborators in the process of making an image.
I have been painting since childhood and grew up in a creative environment. My father, Naveen Sagar, was both a writer and a painter, and he was a constant source of inspiration in my artistic journey. He encouraged me to draw and paint every day, nurturing my interest in art from an early age.
