Sony Purba

Sony is a creative force. Having been working as a licensed architect for over two decades, she began intertwining her artistic passion with her professional journey in 2022 as a painter. She is an active member of a local Co-Op art gallery in Seattle, WA and has participated in notable exhibitions, including the Seattle Art Fair and Affordable Art Fair in London. And now she is very excited and grateful to add “The Other Art Fair” to the list.
Sony employs mixed media—acrylic, ink, charcoal, oil pastel, and watercolor—on various surfaces, creating contemporary works that capture and abstract the essence of everyday life, landscapes, and cultural experiences. Drawing inspiration from her travels and diverse backgrounds, her art reflects a rich tapestry of emotions and lifestyles.
