Every painting begins as a diary entry. I use mixed media to capture the things I’m learning about life and the moments I don’t want to lose. My work sits between observation and emotion, shaped by symbols from nature and the ideas they hold.

I was born in the Northern Caucasus and raised in the UK, and growing up between cultures shaped how I see the world. It gave me a sense of empathy, curiosity and possibility, which continues to guide the themes in my work.

My process consists of building loose layers of inks and acrylics first, then refine the surface through detail, contrast and texture. I work mainly with soft body acrylics on clear primed canvas and often mix in charcoal, pencil, markers, spray paint and oils to create depth.

I am a self-taught artist and have developed my practice through independent study and professional training. I completed the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute and continue to learn through ongoing courses and personal experimentation.
