ABOUT
I paint because I’m drawn to the small details that make nature feel alive - the texture of fur, the way sunlight hits a lemon tree, or the calm weight of the sea. My work moves between wildlife portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, but the thread that connects them is a fascination with the quiet presence of the natural world.
The name Coccinella comes from the Latin word for ladybug - a symbol of luck and renewal. For me, it’s also a reminder that even the smallest things can carry meaning and beauty.
I mostly work in acrylics, layering color and light to create contrasts: brightness against shadow, softness against structure. Every piece is an attempt to capture a moment of calm or vitality that I hope people can carry into their own spaces.
