Jerzy Janus

I am an iconographer faithful to the canons of the classical technique of egg tempera on board. In my work I combine contemplation with craftsmanship, treating icon writing as a form of prayer and spiritual dialogue. I draw inspiration from models, taking care of the liturgical function of the image and its symbolic depth.
I am constantly developing my skills by attending courses on various aspects of the icon writer's workshop.
