Architectures of the Unseen: In an era increasingly defined by algorithmic generation, Gregory Baker's work stands as a deliberate testament to human intention. His portfolio is not merely a collection of digital images but a cohesive philosophical inquiry into the structures of perception, the fluidity of nature, and the quiet tension between order and chaos. Operating within the realm of digital fine art, yet he rejects the ease of automation; every pixel is placed by hand, making his work a labor of consciousness rather than computation.
The elemental and the existential visual language oscillates between two poles: the elemental forces of the natural world and the abstract architectures of the mind. Titles such as Agua Vida, Path of the Sun, and Sky Islands ground the viewer in the physical realm, invoking water, light, and atmosphere as primary subjects. However, these are not traditional landscapes. They are internalized terrains.
