Idi Zainuddin is an emerging expressionist artist from Malaysia whose work blends cultural storytelling with emotional symbolism. Drawing inspiration from Southeast Asian folklore, forgotten histories, and personal introspection, his art invites viewers into layered narratives filled with meaning and metaphor.

Working primarily in acrylic on paper, Idi’s paintings explore themes of struggle, memory, and transformation—often using ordinary objects as vessels for deeper truths. His work was first exhibited at Rumah Singgora in 2020, and he now paints full-time while building his artistic journey with passion and purpose.

Through his art, Idi hopes to preserve cultural memory and provoke reflection—one painting at a time.
