Quan Le

I’m LeQuan, a Vietnamese painter trained in fine arts. Deeply influenced by Fauvism, I create expressive portraits and landscapes with instinctive brushwork and vibrant, unapologetic colors. At times, I also explore Impressionist and Expressionist approaches to capture shifting light, mood, and raw emotion beyond the visible.
Artist Statement
In my paintings, color is not just a descriptive tool — it is a language of emotion. I pursue an expressive style, where raw feeling is the primary voice. Bold tones, distorted faces, and dreamlike landscapes come together to form fragments of an ever-shifting inner world. Portraits especially captivate me; in every gaze and expression, I see a piece of myself — and, perhaps, of the viewer.
