The Potsdam artist Wolf Dieter Pfennig, born in 1956 in Dresden, studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee and held a professorship at the Hochschule Wismar. Known for cheerful, ironic motifs, Pfennig’s distinctive drawings, graphics, paintings, and posters have shaped the art scene. The works are featured in prominent collections, including the Museum of Modern Art Toyama (Japan), the Museum Lahti (Finland), the Akademie der Künste Berlin, and numerous private collections.
