TAKIROY is a Japanese contemporary ink artist whose work explores Zen philosophy through spontaneous ink gestures on handmade washi paper.
"Now. Here. This." — A World of Serendipity and Minimalism
Featuring sumi-e ink paintings created with a fusion of traditional ink and modern spray techniques. This collection includes framed works, tatami panel art, and washi paper lanterns — an expression of the Zen philosophy of being fully present in the moment.Each splash of ink captures the fleeting beauty of chance, evoking minimalism and mindfulness through spontaneous, unrepeatable forms.
An art materials trader producing "sumi-e" (Japanese ink painting) for audiences both in Japan and abroad. Self-taught in the pursuit of splash ink art, the artist focuses on showcasing the unique beauty of handcrafted Eastern paper.
Through ZENZEN, the artist creates and shares ink-based abstract works, art kits, and workshops — cultivating opportunities to embrace "Now. Here. This." and experience the essence of being present.
