I've always been fascinated by the spaces that nature and its inhabitants offer me. With their excesses, but above all, their emptiness. Expanses often marred by humanity, yet still confined to the natural smallness that is theirs. Sometimes just a gesture, a work, or a discreet presence. A nature made of extremes and margins, of gaps that fill my imagination with what could be. What is unseen. My work is inspired by the ancient atmospheres of the film I was trained on. An invitation to look into that living stillness that nature carries with it. My aim is to lead the observer to lose themselves in landscapes and situations where everything or nothing can exist. In their simple essence.

I live and work in Rome. For many years, I've been working as a travel photographer for publishing and art. This work complements my portraiture, which I pursue locally and in my studio.
