Alla Tymoshenko

I was born in Poltava, Ukraine, in 1964. My lifelong journey in the arts began with my early education and has since spanned decades in art education, cultural leadership, and my personal artistic practice.
I dedicated many years to fostering art education, first as an art teacher at School No. 5 (1985-1991) and then as a methodologist for the city's methodological office of fine arts (1989-2005). From 1991 to 2003, I had the privilege of teaching art disciplines at the V.G. Korolenko Poltava State Pedagogical Institute (now PNUU named after V.G. Korolenko). Since 2002, I have served as the Head of the Scientific, Mass, and Exhibition Work Department at the prestigious Mykola Yaroshenko Poltava Art Museum (Art Gallery), a role that keeps me deeply connected to the broader art community.
My contributions to the art world have been recognized with significant honors. In 2008, I became a member of the Poltava Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. I was deeply honored to receive the Mykola Yaroshenko City Annual Prize in 2017, and my work has been further acknowledged with numerous Certificates of Honor, including a prestigious Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine in 2019.

- 1986: Graduated from V.G. Korolenko Poltava State Pedagogical Institute, specializing in Fine Arts, Pedagogy, and Psychology of Primary Education (Teachers: N.I. Rybas, L.H. Bezuhlova-Shynkarenko).
- 2001: Completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Professional Education of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
