My practice explores figurative and landscape painting as sites of memory and historical aftermath. Rather than depicting events directly, the work focuses on what remains — fractured spaces, exhausted bodies, and unstable terrain shaped by collective rupture.
Religious and historical references appear as cultural memory rather than belief, allowing painting to operate as a contemporary form of witness.
