Kamarunnisa Art

I grew up in Mangalore, a coastal city surrounded by lush greenery and now live and work in Qatar. My artwork comes from my own experiences and emotions, blending nature, memory, and imagination. I use acrylics and mixed media to create pieces that reflect how I feel in the moment. I don’t copy what I see around me. Instead, my work is an expression of what comes from within me, shaped by my memories and feelings.

Nature is a big part of my art, but it’s not just about copying a landscape. I bring my memories and imagination into each piece, which is why my work can feel calm, peaceful, and sometimes introspective. The titles of my paintings also offer a deeper look into the emotions behind the artwork, giving the viewer a better understanding of my personal connection to the piece.

My creative process starts with an idea of where I want to go, but the painting often takes on its own direction as I work. I use acrylics and textures to bring each piece to life, responding to how I’m feeling, whether it’s happiness, frustration, or peace. I let the artwork guide me as it unfolds.
