My work is a fusion of my life experiences conveyed through imagery. The beauty and mystery of human anatomy is what attracted me to study medicine. The emotional challenge of IVF led me to seek solace in growing seedlings and my love for plants blossomed from there.

These were routes of escape and ultimately after 15 years of working as a doctor the ultimate escape was to leave and pursue these passions through art.

My work explores the connections humans have with plants, with the aim of enlightening them on how many treatments we think are created in a lab, actually come from nature.

Vintage botanical illustrations visually transport you to the era in medical history when many of western modern prescription medications were discovered and documented. More contemporary expressive artwork translate more recent similar discoveries with emotive gestural marks that tell the same story of modern treatments found in plants.
