Brian Thomas Walsh

I’m Brian Thomas Walsh, an artist based in Scotland, working across painting, drawing, metalwork and spiritual symbolism.

Alongside my background in goldsmithing and design, my work has always been anchored in art — not as a recent turn, but as a lifelong commitment. My practice now brings together years of visual research, craft discipline, and a deep personal drive to explore what lies beneath the surface of things.

Today, my practice draws on everything I’ve lived through — fine art, design, craft, mysticism — and shapes it into work that explores the thresholds between matter and spirit. Whether I’m working in paint, ink, or metal, the human form often becomes my starting point: not as portraiture, but as symbol. Each piece is built to hold presence — something felt, not just seen.

My aim is simple: to make work that speaks to both the surface and the soul. Accessible, contemplative, and enduring.
