Nestor Gantiva

I am an artist and advertiser from Bogotá, with a deep attraction to art that grew during my studies in advertising and design. At that time, I explored various visual disciplines such as painting, illustration, photography, film, and art history, which became part of my creative process and helped me build a personal style, with a special emphasis on figurative work and pop art. My work is characterized by the use of metal as a support, a material on which I dared to paint and even incorporate rust as an active element. This allows me to create pieces with unique textures, shapes, and lighting effects that invite the viewer to a deeper observation and analysis. Experimenting with these materials constantly drives me to seek new visual possibilities.
I find inspiration both in classical art and in certain contemporary movements, which have enriched my artistic proposal. My goal is to spark curiosity and reflection on current issues, combining technique, experimentation, and a distinctive visual language.
