Afsaneh Moslehi

Afsaneh Moslehi (b. 1989, Babol, Iran) is a contemporary calligraphy and mirror art artist based in Oman since 2021. With over a decade of professional practice, her work bridges traditional visual languages with contemporary expression through the interplay of script, geometry, and reflection. Drawing from classical calligraphy, cultural memory, and the patterns found in nature and Middle Eastern heritage, she transforms written forms and geometric structures into modern compositions of rhythm, movement, and spatial experience. Through calligraphy and mirror art rooted in Iranian tradition, Afsaneh reimagines historical forms with precision and material sensitivity, creating works that connect culture, landscape, and inherited artistic traditions within a contemporary context.
