Steven Ostrowski

I'm a painter, fiction writer, and poet. I've published a novel (The Highway of Spirit and Bone) as well as several books of poems. My artwork has been in art shows and has been published in a number of literary magazines; in several of those, it has been used as cover art. I seek, through all my creative work, to deepen the mystery of what it means to be human. I am optimistic; why else make things? I love the potential that I see in the blank canvas or on the blank page. Something magical happens as a work begins to take form.

I'm relatively early in my career as an exhibiting painter. I've participated in a several group shows in my home state of Connecticut, and have sold a number of paintings through these shows. I also post my work to social media sites, and have sold a number of paintings that way as well. Sometimes, my paintinigs recieve offers almost as soon as I post them, for which I am grateful indeed.
