Anat Heifets

I am a multidisciplinary fashion designer, artist, and lecturer with over four decades of international experience. My work spans fashion design, textile innovation, and product development, and I have collaborated with leading global brands such as Macy’s, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss. As the founder and creative director of KAWAYAN, I merge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the versatility of bamboo and nature’s resilience.

My artistic journey bridges fashion and fine art, integrating printing, carving, and painting techniques to create unique, sustainable works. I have showcased collections at the Venice Biennale, Ayala Museum, and Braverman Gallery, and continue to lecture at Shenkar College, mentoring the next generation of designers. Passionate about ethical design, I strive to create timeless pieces that celebrate culture, sustainability, and artistry.
