Patrick Kusmierski

I am a contemporary oil painter based in Poland, creating atmospheric paintings inspired by abandoned manors, forgotten architecture, and melancholic landscapes. For the past five years, I have been developing a personal visual language focused on mood, silence, and the emotional presence of places touched by time.



My work balances between representation and abstraction, using expressive brushwork, textured surfaces, and limited color palettes to evoke cinematic and nostalgic atmospheres. I am particularly drawn to old buildings and ruins, seeing them not only as architectural forms, but as carriers of memory and emotion.



Through my paintings, I explore themes of decay, solitude, and beauty hidden within abandoned spaces. Each work is an attempt to capture a fleeting atmosphere rather than a precise documentation of reality.
