Oksana Melnyk

My name is Oksana, I am an artist from Ukraine — born and living here to this day.
Like many artists, my path into painting has its own deeply personal story. I became the kind of artist shaped by the circumstances of war — the one that has been unfolding on our land for several years now.

In the spring of 2025, I felt a profound inner call to take a pencil into my hand — and that became my very first step into the world of visual art.
Since then, I’ve immersed myself completely in the creative process, exploring various painting styles and techniques, and most importantly, simply painting as much as possible. I began with small works on watercolor paper and gradually moved toward larger paintings on professional panels.

Painting has a deeply therapeutic quality for me. It has become both a source of healing and a springboard to new personal horizons.
I am truly grateful to everyone who joins me on this artistic journey — as a companion, a viewer, or a collector — helping me share the beauty I create with the world.
