Nikita Raveendran

I’m Niki, the artist behind NiKa Arts, where resin and mixed media converge to capture the untamed spirit of water. My sculptural pieces echo the paradox of the ocean—calm yet turbulent, fleeting yet timeless—shifting with light and perspective like waves frozen in motion.

My creative journey has spanned continents and disciplines: from studying animation in India to completing a dual Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling Psychology in Chicago, and later working across digital design, research, and user experience in Canada. These experiences inform my practice, blending storytelling, emotional depth, and a fascination with form and movement.

Working from my studio in Kelowna, BC, I continue to explore the textures, translucency, and rhythms of water. Each piece is not just an object, but an invitation: to pause, to wonder, and to feel the stillness and power that water brings to our lives.
