Liz is a Toronto-based digital matte painter and impressionism oil painter with a background in visual effects and fine arts. Her work blends cinematic composition with impressionistic color, drawing from both her experience in the film industry and the passion for traditional painting. She studied Art Design at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and Computer Animation & VFX at Sheridan College. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in 2022. Her oil paintings often explore light, atmosphere, and the quiet tension between reality and memory.
