Jane Schofield

Jane Schofield is an artist who loves to experiment. She is always evolving her techniques, incorporating texture, vivid colours, metal leaf and spray effects into her work. She is a regular visitor to Richmond Park and Kew Gardens and has collected over a thousand reference photos of trees in all shapes and sizes - they are the inspiration for her tree paintings. Multiple layers create depth and texture and she delights in interesting colour combinations - blue on gold, orange and jade on copper, neon pinks red and greens on turquoise. Using a variety of techniques she creates highly stylised and uplifting original pieces of artwork.
