Anandita Banerjee

I am an artist and interior designer whose work explores the balance between spontaneity and structure. My practice draws from the quiet rhythms of nature and the expressive freedom of abstraction, using mediums such as watercolor and ink to create pieces that feel both meditative and dynamic.

Trees, landscapes, textures, and organic forms often inspire my work, yet I also embrace pure abstraction as a way to capture emotion, movement, and the unspoken. Watercolor allows me to explore softness, fluidity, and chance, while ink introduces contrast, strength, and definition. Together, they create a dialogue between control and release, mirroring the duality of human experience.

As a designer, I naturally gravitate toward harmony, proportion, and atmosphere. My artworks reflect that same sensibility—each piece is created to evoke calmness, contemplation, and a sense of timeless presence within a space.

Through my art, I aim to offer viewers more than an image: an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with both their surroundings and themselves.
