Eugeniu Pogonea

Eugeniu Pogonea is a photographer working primarily in the genre of fine art photography. Born in the Republic of Moldova, Eugene showed an early interest in visual culture. After earning a degree in economics, he worked at the National Bank and later at a major Swiss company. Yet photography remained a constant passion, eventually drawing him fully into the art form, where he now combines personal projects with commercial work.

The main subjects of his photography are female portraiture and nature — as Woman is the crowning creation of nature.

Light and shadow, nature and life, solitude and form, human presence in space — all of these offer endless opportunities to create and to delight the viewer’s eye, filling it with emotion and a desire to live.

Each of his photographs is not just an image, but a story told through the language of light, composition, and silent tension. His work is marked by attention to detail, deep emotionality, and a desire to capture moments that embody true beauty.
