I live and work in Berlin, a city full of contrasts and creative energy. Yet my deepest inspiration comes from New York – a place that fascinates me, makes me feel alive, and sparks my creativity. Whenever I can, I walk through the streets of New York with my camera, capturing moments, details, and perspectives that reflect the city’s pulse.
These original photographs are then printed on canvas – creating the starting point of my artworks. On this photo-canvas I continue my artistic process, transforming the image with structure, color, and my distinctive Three-Layer Model:
• Daylight: visible photography combined with vivid colors and textures.
• Blacklight: hidden layers emerge, glowing with new meaning.
• Night view: the canvas reveals a quiet, atmospheric presence in darkness.
Through this technique I bring together photography and painting, making the impulsiveness and creativity of New York tangible and alive. Each artwork is both a captured moment and an ongoing transformation – a dialogue between Berlin’s thoughtful depth and New York’s unstoppable energy.

Art and visual design have been part of my life since childhood. While training as a track and field athlete at Berlin’s Children and Youth Sports School, I also attended life drawing and sculpture courses—nurturing an early connection to artistic expression. I later studied graphic design, receiving a comprehensive education in drawing techniques, illustration, bookbinding, screen printing, photography, typography, and reproduction methods.
After completing my diploma, I worked in communications and advertising agencies and completed a part-time Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing. Since then, I’ve held leadership positions in marketing—bringing with me a refined understanding of visual impact, design, and strategic communication.
Since 2023, I have returned to creating art with renewed intensity and joy - developing and refining what I call the Three-Layer Principle: a model that explores the interaction of translucent, fluorescent, and phosphorescent materials under daylight, blacklight, and complete darkness.
My work falls into two main categories: abstract painting and modified city photography, primarily based on images of Berlin and New York. These cities symbolize my emotional connection to urban environments, ...
Each artwork is presented unframed, allowing the photograph and my artistic transformation to unfold their full impact – free from boundaries, open to space and perception.
For protection and refinement, I finish the surface with a glossy varnish, which enhances the brilliance and depth of the colors.
Another distinctive feature is the afterglow in darkness: depending on the intensity of prior light exposure, the luminosity varies – the work interacts with its environment and reveals ever-changing facets.
