“I am nobody, who are you?”
— the opening line of Emily Dickinson’s poem resonates deeply with me. Humility and compassion are qualities I value and strive to practice. Photography is a journey of discovering myself and others — and through that understanding, giving something back.
Through photography, I strive to capture vulnerability — the sense of being small in something vast. To simply exist, without adding or subtracting. It’s an ambitious pursuit, and I am just me.
I have photographed on and off throughout my adult life, always drawn to images that are visually striking or that fall outside what most consider beautiful. Perhaps this is where I search — to find beauty in the fragile, the human, the ordinary.
My work often leans toward minimalism: calm, presence, and absence intertwined. What engages and energizes me is the act of creating. It is a process, a gift, and I am grateful for all the conditions that make my life possible.
So, who am I?
Perhaps a blend of everything that has been and is — shaped by everything and nothing, while not being the shape itself. Sometimes a creative artist, sometimes a doubting, self-critical soul — and then again…
Through my work, however imperfect or unfinished, I hope to create...
