Irina Smirnova-Seymour

Irina is accomplished contemporary artist who lives and works in the U.K. Over the years, Irina has worked in many fascinating fields of art, including tapestry making, batik, graphic design, and decorative and fine arts. For the past 10 she has dedicated her time to traveling, gaining new experiences, reevaluating her work and getting inspiration for the new start in her art career.

In the last year, Irina returned to painting and she has truly refined her artistic voice, and today her work fully reflects her vision. She lives in Torquay in a beautiful coastal town that she deeply loves. The sea and fantastic nature surrounding has become the main source of inspiration in her art. She is spending a lot of time working on plain air and her style now can be described as modern Impressionism.
