Maggie Marshall

I was born in Surrey in the UK and studied at Camberwell Art College in London. I undertook Woven Textiles and Printed Designs and produced some fine Indian Silk Weaving as well as utilising dying and spinning techniques as well as Jacquard and Rug Designing.

I continued my studies by taking a Masters Degree at the Royal College of Art in London for which I received a Distinction. While there I undertook both Textile Design and some Fine Art work.

I had a number of successful exhibitions which included a one man show at Greenwich Theatre in London which included some Mixed Media Collage art work.
I also enjoyed passing on my skills and later taught both in schools and in adult education while bringing up my two children. Having retired I now concentrate on producing a variety of art pieces. Inspiration has come from Gustave Klimt, Edward Hopper and more traditional artists from the past.
