RECOGNITION

Yesang Lee is a South Korea-based artist who explores the connection between energy and consciousness. Her work is shaped by a diverse background in economics, music, and fashion design, which brings a structured yet rhythmic perspective to her art.

Currently, her practice is rooted in the symbols of Korean Minhwa—traditionally used to embody wishes for health and harmony. For Lee, however, these traditional forms are not a fixed style but a starting point. She uses Minhwa as a visual language to study the flow of inner consciousness, currently moving from these classical roots toward a more liberated, contemporary expression.

Specializing in contemporary reinterpretations of Korean Minhwa, Lee explores the essence of "reality-creation" through professional-grade oriental watercolors and natural calcite. Her work transcends traditional boundaries, capturing the invisible light of the self with sophisticated technique.

With a proven track record of three solo exhibitions and multiple national art awards, Yesang Lee offers collectors a profound visual dialogue between ancient heritage and modern consciousness.

Multidisciplinary background in Economics, Music, and Fashion Design.
Private Fine Art Mentorship & Contemporary Minhwa Studies.
