Edith Perez

I am Edith Perez, born in Aruba, and have been painting since I was 5. My style has always been surreal, meta-realistic and colorful.
With the years my personal interest in meditation, spirituality and metaphysics, sacred geometry and ancient history has deepened and all of it fascinates me. A great part of my paintings reflect this knowledge. My fascination of nature itself is deep and nature's fibonacci sequence of creation and golden ratio will come again and again in my work making it beautiful, mysterious and colorful.

I focus on the beauty and mystery of nature and creation, adding dream experiences and personal spiritual adventures to my art to make it more fun and colorful.

I have a financial degree and have been working in the finance all my life. While going to classes besides working full-time as an Accountant, I paint intensively and building my career as a part-time artist. My main goal is to shift to art 100% and never retire.

1st successful Solo Exhibition in May 2000 in Aruba - Experimenting Dreams
In this exhibition my surreal works were mainly oil paintings with some acrylic and collages in acrylic.
