My art reflects my faith, passions, and life journey. Growing up in Zimbabwe, I was deeply influenced by the beauty of wildlife and the richness of the landscape. These early experiences continue to shape my work, where I merge the real and the imagined to explore the connection between nature, time, and spirituality.
I draw inspiration from artists such as Bev Doolittle, Monet, and Oleg Shuplyak, whose approaches to light, composition, and hidden meaning inform my own. Like Monet, I am fascinated by the passage of time and the way light transforms what we see, revealing the delicate balance between change and continuity.
Each painting begins with an acrylic underpainting and develops through layers of oil that enhance color and luminosity. Through hidden elements, shifting light, and symbolic imagery, I aim to evoke reflection and emotion. My goal is to capture the beauty of creation and the enduring sense of eternity that unites all living things.
