Artist biography
Alexandra Chernyaeva is a visual artist and conceptual photographer based in Porto, Portugal.
In her practice, she combines processes based on artificial intelligence with artistic photography to explore silence, human fragility and emotional tension in contemporary life. Working primarily in monochrome, she captures the invisible frequencies of human experience — the pauses, hesitations, and subtle resistance beneath the surface of everyday life.
Chernyaeva's work has been exhibited in New York and has been recognised in art competitions. Her series, such as Anatomy of Silence and Unread, reflect a pronounced minimalist aesthetic and psychological depth, placing her among a new wave of artists reimagining digital realism and emotion through artificial intelligence.
