Julian Garcia

My relationship with art has existed for as long as I can remember. That inclination led me to study and practice it from a very young age (I'd been reading books about Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo since elementary school, as well as specialized publications on drawing and painting). I also studied Graphic Design as a profession, taking subjects like “Natural Drawing" and "Techniques of Artistic Expression." Over time, my work with art has become much richer and broader. I continually produce art and have participated as a graphic designer and artist in several projects, for example with Bud Light and Stella Artois.

I believe that art largely fulfills what Dr. Daniel E. Schneider says in his book “The Psychoanalyst and the Artist”: “The artistic gift is the inherent capacity for transformation of the individual’s unconscious into a consciously communicative and more or less universalized work [...]. The power of its implicit interpretation and its capacity to evoke aesthetic pleasure determine its longevity and, consequently, the degree of its permanence, acceptance, and greatness in human culture.”
